Switch to Vaulterm

Vaulterm imports hosts, keys and trusted servers from ~/.ssh and PuTTY. Your original files aren't changed.

From OpenSSH (~/.ssh/config)

  1. Download Vaulterm and set a master password.
  2. Choose Import from this computer on Home, Import on the Hosts page, or type import in the Command Center.
  3. Review what Vaulterm found: hosts with their users, ports, keys and jump hosts, including Include files and Host * defaults, plus your private keys and known_hosts.
  4. Enter passphrases for protected keys, then choose Import.

Servers in your known_hosts connect without asking to be trusted again. You can keep using ssh in a terminal as before.

From PuTTY (Windows)

Follow the same steps. Vaulterm also lists your saved PuTTY sessions, PuTTY's trusted host keys and your .ppk keys (versions 2 and 3, passphrase-protected ones included).

From Termius

Termius import is planned for the beta. Until then, import your ~/.ssh/config, add hosts by hand, or use Scan network to find SSH servers on your network.
